Expanding upon its origins in the 2023 balcony project, this year's theme—"Within Community and Beyond"—scales up the initiative from Fuyuan Street to a city-wide vision for Taipei. Showcasing interviews with residents who restore their balconies alongside input from design professionals and academic experts, this project demonstrates diverse perspectives on balcony use. Our goal is to inspire public reflection and strengthen collective appreciation for urban streetscape aesthetics.
